I made tcgguilds initially as a guild site, where my friends and I could record our win rates for decks,.
It slowly turned that and so much more eventually becoming Guilds.tcgguilds.co.uk, Guildmasters can setup Communities, run tournaments, add achievements, sell items in their Guild Shop, setup events and a lot more!
TCG's being a passion of mine and having wanted to build my own for quite a while, I knew I didn't want to make each card individually, so I created TCGStudio which allowed TCG designers to setup templates, run batches, edit individual cards and review their set balance based on parameters they set.
This Led into the Birth of Engine.tcgguilds.co.uk because what use is designing a TCG if you can't share it with the world right? That's exactly what the site does it allows developers using the Studio to setup Card abilities, Combat settings, Phases etc for their game and press one button to upload the whole thing to a working engine that will instantly allow player to sign up and play it. There's so plenty of settings on top of this, but I'll let the site speak for it's self.
I'm a one man Band and I figured that I won't always want to be that way it would be nice to have a team or be able to hire people easily when I need help with a Design or Idea.
So I created collab.tcgguilds.co.uk a place where I could eventually meet like minded people and allow them to connect with a wider audience.
That's enough Waffle about the why, what about the who?
My name is David I'm a Father, Fiancé, Gamer, Nerd, Trekkie, Dungeon Crawler, Hermit.
People who know me might say:
"Oh boy, he never shuts up" - Mainly my Mum when i go to visit or if on the rare occasion I venture out with friends.
"He's always willing to help" - No idea where they get that idea.
"A respected and valued Colleague" - Genuine feedback I'm not sure if it's sarcastic though lol.
I can hyper fixate at times and have had more hobbies than Hot dinners last year.
Well overdue an actual holiday.
I'll stop here and probably, maybe add more later.
